2. New Features

2-1. Updating Web View for use with Windows

The web view used by Unifinity Studio and the Unifinity Application Player for Windows has been updated. You can switch between the old and the new Web View by setting up a preference. For more information, see "2. "Project" tab.

To maintain compatibility, all previous applications will work with the same Web View as Ver. 5.4.3 and earlier.

3. Improvement of defects

3-1. Fixed a crash when reading non-images in the "File/Image Read" logic

4-1. Change in operating requirements for use with Windows

The operating requirements for Unifinity Studio and Unifinity Application Player for Windows will be changed as follows

4-2. Change in mobile OS support scope

The scope of support for Unifinity Application Player for Android and iOS will be changed as follows.

4-3. About the installer for Windows

Starting with this version, the installers for Unifinity Studio and Unifinity Application Player for Windows will include an installer that does not require administrator privileges in addition to the existing installer that requires administrator privileges. For more information, see "2. check the operating environment.

In addition, in accordance with this specification change, when the installer for Ver. 5.5.0 or later is executed with Ver. 5.4.3 or earlier installed, a dialog box will appear indicating that the earlier version must be uninstalled, and uninstallation is mandatory. If the "installer requiring administrator privileges" is used, the authentication information will be inherited even after uninstallation. In addition, data such as downloaded and created applications will be transferred regardless of which installer is used.

4-4. Implementation of certificate inspection at the time of communication

4-5. Delete debug log output option

Removed "log files" from Unifinity Studio properties.

4-6. Authorization settings for authentication on Android

In the Unifinity Application Player for Android, the following OS versions will display the permission dialog box for the permissions described at the time of initial user authentication. (For other Android OS and function permissions, the permission dialog will appear when using the relevant function in the application as before.)
