We are pleased to announce that AWS, which we use as our backend, will change the minimum version of TLS to TLSv1.2 for connections to API endpoints in all regions by June 28, 2023. This will make some features unavailable to older versions of Unifinity Application Player and Unifinity Studio that are less than TLSv1.2.
The scope of the impact is as follows
Unifinity Application Player
- Functions that will no longer be available
- Download the application from UniBaaS
- Affected versions
- Unifinity Application Player Ver. 3.9.2 or earlier for Windows
Unifinity Studio
- Functions that will no longer be available
- Downloading Shared Projects and Template Projects
- Affected versions
- Unifinity Studio Ver4.2.0 to Ver5.0.2 versions
Therefore, we request that you take the following actions
1. update Unifinity Application Player and Unifinity Studio to the latest version
Please use the latest versions of Unifinity Application Player and Unifinity Studio that support TLSv1.2. This will allow you to continue to use the product without restrictions.
