Proxy Connection Settings
Configure the proxy used by Unifinity Studio for network communication. These settings apply to application communication during debugging in Unifinity Studio, real-time preview communication, and UniBaaS authentication.
Proxy Settings for Debugging
Configure the proxy used by the application for network communication during debugging.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Do Not Use a Proxy When Debugging | Select this option if the application does not require a proxy for network communication. |
| Use the Following Proxy When Debugging | Select this option if the application requires a proxy with the specified server name and port number. |
| Use OS Proxy Settings When Debugging | Select this option if the application requires the operating system’s proxy settings for network communication. |
Proxy Server Name
Enter the name of the proxy server.
Default: Blank
Allowed characters: ASCII letters
Port Number
Enter the port number of the proxy server.
Default: 8080
Allowed range: 1–65535
Proxy Settings for User Authentication
Configure the proxy used for user authentication during debugging when “Authenticate with UniBaaS Before Debugging” is selected.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Do Not Use a Proxy for User Authentication | Select this option if user authentication during debugging does not require a proxy. |
| Use the Following Proxy for User Authentication | Select this option if user authentication during debugging requires a proxy with the specified server name and port number. |

Proxy Server Name
Enter the name of the proxy server.
Default: Blank
Allowed characters: ASCII letters
Port Number
Enter the port number of the proxy server.
Default: 8080
Allowed range: 1–65535
Note: Proxy Connection Limitations

- If the proxy hostname is blank, the operating system’s proxy settings are used. Proxies that require authentication are still not supported.
- Proxy settings configured through Active Directory are not supported.
- If the proxy server name is blank and no proxy is configured in the operating system, communication takes place without a proxy.
Network Diagnostics
Run network diagnostics. For details, see “9. Network Diagnostics.”
Project Autosave
Configure automatic project saving.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Save Project When Running | Select this checkbox to automatically save the project being edited when debugging starts. |

| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Design Document | Specify the path to the design document template file. |
| Screen Transition Diagram | Specify the path to the screen transition diagram template file. |
About Template Files
Templates use Excel files. Define the document’s layout and place keywords where you want information to appear.
For available keywords, see “Design Document Templates” in Formatting Rules.
Sample Template Files
Sample template files are provided with the Unifinity Studio installer.

Debugging Options
Configure settings for debugging.
Maximum Call Stack Count
Set the maximum call stack count at which debugging stops. If the call stack count (number of loop iterations) exceeds this limit during debugging, a warning appears and debugging stops.
Default: 99
Allowed range: 1–99999
Authenticate with UniBaaS Before Debugging
Specify whether to authenticate with UniBaaS before debugging.
Select this checkbox to test logic that requires UniBaaS authentication, such as “2401_UniBaaS/Download File,” during debugging.
Application Behavior Settings
Configure settings for application behavior.
Use Software Rendering for Screen Display
With certain CPU and GPU combinations, the Unifinity Studio interface may not refresh correctly. Selecting this checkbox allows the interface to render correctly, although rendering responsiveness may decrease.
To force this setting on, launch Unifinity Studio from the command line with the -c software_rendering option.
To force this setting off, launch Unifinity Studio with the -c hardware_rendering option.
