The “Screen Design” tab lets you configure the behavior of the Screen Design interface.
Form Designer
Configure settings for the design workspace.

| Guidelines | Set the horizontal and vertical spacing of guide lines and dots used to position controls on the screen. Default: Horizontal 10, Vertical 10 |
| Show Guidelines | Choose whether to display guidelines. |
| Snap Controls to Guidelines | Select this checkbox to align controls with the guidelines when moving or resizing them by dragging. By default, controls move and resize in increments of 10 points. |
Control Placement Behavior
Choose how controls are placed during screen design.
- Stay in Placement Mode
After selecting a control from the control bar, each click in the work area places another instance of that control. - Return to Selection Mode
After selecting a control from the control bar, click in the work area to place it and return to selection mode.

Display Pattern for Transparent Form Backgrounds
Choose the pattern displayed when the form’s background color is transparent. Available options are “None,” “Dark Checkerboard,” and “Light Checkerboard.”

Set the initial screen size used when adding a new screen.
Custom Screen Sizes for Debugging
Add custom screen sizes to the screen size options available during debugging.
