9. What to Do If You Forget Your Password

If you forget the password required to log in to UniBaaS, you can reset it.

Users who were registered with an email address can request a password reset using one of the following methods:

• Request a reset from Unifinity Application Player
• Request a reset from the “Account Registration Notice” email
• Ask your administrator to reset the password for you

Note: Password Reset for Users Registered with a User ID

Users registered with a User ID (instead of an email address) cannot reset their password themselves. Such users must request that an administrator reconfigure their password.

Requesting a Password Reset from Unifinity Application Player

To reset your password through the Unifinity Application Player installed on your device, follow the steps below.

1. Start the password reset process
   Windows version：
   Open the User Settings tab in the Properties window, then click Password Reset.
   

   Android/iOS version：
   Open the menu, select Settings, then tap Password Reset.
   

2. Confirm the reset request.
   When prompted with “Do you want to reset your password?”, tap Yes. 
   A message will appear stating that a password reset email has been sent.
   A “Password Reset URL Notification” email will be automatically sent to your registered user ID (email address).
3. Complete the password reset using the email.
   Follow the instructions provided in the email.
   When you open the password reset URL, the following screen will appear.
   Enter a new password and tap Change to complete the process.
   

Requesting a Password Reset from the “Account Registration Notice” Email

You can also initiate a password reset from the “Account Registration Notice” email you received when your account was registered.

1. Open the Account Registration Notice email and access the password reset URL (included in the message).
2. When the screen prompting for the destination email appears, enter your email address and click Send Email.
   
3. A “Password Reset URL Notification” email will be sent automatically. From here, follow the same procedure as Step 3 in “Requesting a Password Reset from Unifinity Application Player.”

Requesting a Password Reset from an Administrator

If an administrator performs the password reset operation, a “Password Reset URL Notification” email will be automatically sent to the user’s email address.

From there, the procedure is the same as Step 3 in “Requesting a Password Reset from Unifinity Application Player.”
