2. New Features

2-1. Redesigned Studio Interface

The Unifinity Studio interface has been redesigned, with the addition of “Simple Editing Mode” and “Advanced Editing Mode.” As part of this update, some features and settings have been relocated, and some features have been discontinued. For details, please see “Changes in Unifinity Studio 6.2.0.”

2-2. Additional Search Conditions in Studio

Unifinity Studio now supports AND/OR searches. Select the “Add Search Conditions” checkbox to enter additional search conditions.

2-3. New Barcode Recognition Engine

A new recognition engine for “1911_Device/Read QR Code” has been added to Unifinity Studio and Unifinity Application Player. The engine is enabled for apps with “Use the New Barcode Recognition Engine” turned on in the “Project” tab of the Properties panel in Unifinity Studio.

Using the new barcode recognition engine also enables the following features:

• The “Scan Frame” parameter for “1911_Device/Read QR Code” is now available. When set to “ON,” the barcode/QR code scanning area is restricted to the center of the screen.
• A green overlay appears briefly immediately after a barcode or QR code is recognized.

3.Bug Fixes

3-1. Fixed Network Diagnostics Always Reporting “NG” for App Communication

Fixed an issue in Network Diagnostics where items with the communication type set to “App” always returned “NG,” even when the network was functioning normally.

3-2. Fixed Issues When Using POST Logic

Fixed an issue where using “1704_Network/POST,” “1705_Network/POST2,” or “1706_Network/POST3” could cause request data to contain invalid values or lead to unstable behavior.

4.Specification Changes / Other Updates

4-1. Automatic App Downloads Now Enabled for Free-Version Users

When free-version users authenticate in Unifinity Application Player, the “Download Apps When Player Starts” option in Properties is now automatically turned on.
