6. user management

Click on "User Management" in the Administration menu to see which users are registered with UniBaaS.

The components of the user list are as follows

(i) Number of licenses/remaining

The number of licenses you have and the number remaining.
(2) User Search

Specify the criteria and click "Search" to narrow down the list of users.

Click "Reset" to clear the entered conditions.
(iii) User List

List of users registered with UniBaaS.
Name, login ID, group affiliation, platform, Player version used, registration date, and last login date/time will be displayed.

  • The default sort order is ascending order of registration. In columns where a triangle mark appears in the title, clicking on the mark changes the order of the listings.
  • To reset a user's password, click Reset. For more information, see "Reset PasswordSee "The following is a brief description of the newest version of the product.
  • To change user information, click Edit.

  • To delete user information, select the target user and click "Delete.

  • When the number of users is large, the page is divided into multiple pages. Click on the number icon to switch to the corresponding page.
  • To change the number of items displayed on a page, select the number of items to be displayed from the pull-down menu at the bottom right of the list.

User Registration

There are two ways to register as a user

Unifinity versions 3.2.2 and earlier do not support the ability to register users using their user ID as their login ID.

If you are using Unifinity version 3.2.2 or earlier, please register as a user with your email address.

 

Register per user

  1. Click on "User Registration" in the user list.

    The New User Registration screen appears.
  2. Fill in the required information (①) and click [Confirm Registration Details] (②).

    Enter the user's name.
    login ID

    Select the user's login ID from [email address] or [user ID].

    When you select an e-mail address, a field for entering the e-mail address will appear. Enter the user's e-mail address in the input field that appears.

    When you select User ID, the User ID entry field and Password entry field will appear. Enter your user ID and password in the entry fields displayed.
    JSON

    This item will be available through future expansion.
    Group Affiliation

    Check the Groups checkbox and select the group to which you belong. To delete a group that has been added, uncheck the checkbox for the target group.
    The content confirmation screen will be displayed.
  3. Review the registration details and click "Register.

Batch registration using CSV files

  1. Click "CSV Batch Registration" in the user list.

  2. [Click "Download CSV Template" to download the template file for batch registration.

  3. Open the downloaded template file, edit the user information to be registered in bulk, and save it.
    Each item in the template file (CSV format) is as follows
    (data) item Description.
    Name (required) ."Register per userSame information as [Name] in [Name].
    E-mail address (select) ."Register per userThis is the same information as [login ID] in [login ID].
    User ID and password cannot be entered in the row for users who have entered their e-mail address.
    User ID (select) ."Register per userThis is the same information as [login ID] in [login ID].
    In the line for users who have entered their user ID, the password must be entered and the e-mail address cannot be entered.
    Password (select)
    JSON (optional) ."Register per userThe content is the same as that of [JSON] in [JSON].
    Group ID (optional) Specify the group ID to which you belong. To make a group belong to more than one group, specify like ""1,2,3"".
    Deletion flag (required) Specify "0" for new registration/renewal and "1" for deletion.

    Template files should be edited using Microsoft Excel or similar software.

  4. On the Batch User Registration screen, select the saved template file (①) and click "Confirm" (②).
    Drag and drop the template file into the frame in the center of the screen. You can also specify a template file by clicking on "Select File.

  5. Confirm the contents and click "Upload.

    The template file is uploaded to UniBaaS and the users are registered in bulk.
  6. Click "Continue Registration" to continue batch registration, or "Back to List" to return to the user list.

[Attention.

If a user closes a web browser tab while uploading a CSV file, the user will not be able to create a user with the CSV file from the next time onward. Please do not close your web browser tab until the CSV file upload is complete.

The batch registration process has already been executed. If you repeatedly receive an error message stating, "The user is unable to register by CSV file," please contact support.

Known Defect Information

 

 

Download CSV data

Click "CSV Data Download" in the user list.

The "Save As" screen will appear. Specify the location and name of the CSV file to be downloaded and save it.

 

Reset Password

In the list of users, click "Reset" for the user whose password you wish to reset.

[Reference] Cases where the password reset button is not displayed

  • Users registered with a user ID can reset their password through the “Change User Information” option.

  • Users created with Single Sign-On or those who signed up with a social account do not see this option because their passwords are not managed by UniBaaS.

A confirmation message screen will appear. If you wish to reset the password, click "Execute Password Reset".

An email will be sent to the target user prompting them to reset their password.

The email will contain instructions for resetting the password, and the user who receives the email will follow the contents of the email to reset the password.

 

Change User Information

  1. In the list of users, click "Edit" for the user to be changed.

    The Edit User Information screen appears.

  2. Change the user information (①) and click "Confirm Changes" (②).

    The content confirmation screen will appear.

    ReferenceDeletion of devices associated with a user

    If a user successfully logs in from the Unifinity Application Player, the device will appear as a device identifier on the Edit User Information screen.
    Devices that are no longer needed (e.g., due to device replacement) can be deleted from this screen.

     

  3. Confirm the changes and click "Change.

    User information will be changed.

 

Deleting Users

In the user list, check the users to be deleted (①) and click "Delete" (②).

A confirmation message screen will appear. Click "OK" if you are sure you want to delete the file.
