1. What You Can Do with Unifinity Wizard
Unifinity Wizard is a no-code service that lets you create business apps for everyday operations simply by answering questions and arranging fields. No programming knowledge is required.
- Completely no-code: Anyone can easily create an app.
- Everything happens in your browser: No installation is required.
- Preview your app at any time as you build it.
2. For Users of the Previous App Version
If you previously used Unifinity Wizard within Unifinity Application Player, the table below explains the main differences in the web version. If you are new to Unifinity Wizard, you can skip this section.
| App Version (Runs in Player) | Web Version (Runs in a Browser) | |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | Requires downloading and installing Player | No installation required. Just open it in your browser. |
| Updates | Requires updating Unifinity Wizard | Always opens the latest version; no manual updates required |
| Workflow | Follow a sequence of steps using “Back” and “Next” | Move freely between settings from the preview screen |
Once you reach the preview screen in the web version, you can return to “Field Settings,” “Screen Settings,” and other settings as often as needed to refine your app. The web version makes it easy to revisit and change earlier choices.

4. Five Ways to Create an App
The Unifinity Wizard home screen offers five ways to create an app. Choose the one that best suits your needs.
| Method | When to Use It | Where to Start |
|---|---|---|
| Create from a Form | Use AI to read an Excel or PDF form and automatically create an app | “Create from a Form” on the home screen |
| Simple Creation | Get started by answering questions to define your fields | “Create by Answering Questions” on the home screen |
| Create by Importing | Build an app from existing CSV, JSON, or kintone data | “Create by Importing” on the home screen |
| Use an Existing App | Resume previously saved work | “Click Here to Use an Existing App” at the bottom of the home screen |
| Choose a Template | Quickly create an app from a ready-made template | “Click Here to Choose a Template” at the bottom of the home screen |
All Methods Lead to the Preview Screen
Whichever method you choose, you will reach the preview screen. This is the main workspace for building your app. From here, move between “Field Settings” and “Screen Settings” to refine your app, then generate it when you are ready.
Header
A shared header appears at the top of every screen.
| Position | Function |
|---|---|
| Top left (Unifinity Wizard) | Click to return to the home screen. A confirmation dialog appears. |
| Center | Displays the icon and name of the app you are creating. |
| Top right (bell icon) | Displays announcements. |
| Top right (menu icon) | Opens the menu. |
Menu
Click the menu button in the top-right corner to access the following options.
- Download Settings as JSON: Save your work locally as a file. To resume, load this file using “Import” on the home screen.
- Reset Settings and Return to Start: Discard all current work and return to the home screen. A confirmation dialog appears.
Saving Your Settings
Your work is automatically saved in your browser. Select “Click Here to Restore from a Backup” on the home screen to view previously autosaved work, then select a backup to resume.
However, your work will not carry over if you clear your browser’s cache or switch to another browser or device. We recommend saving important work using one of the following methods:
- “Save and Exit” at the bottom of the preview screen: Save your settings to UniBaaS. To resume, select “Click Here to Use an Existing App” on the home screen and load your saved settings.
- “Download Settings as JSON” in the header menu: Download your settings and save them locally. To resume, select “Click Here to Import from CSV, JSON, or kintone” on the home screen, then use “Load JSON Data” to load the saved file.
